Bike to the Beach
After an early morning structure fire devastated the Riley’s Farm Los Rios Rancho property, the apples needed picking, as precious resources had to be taken to help with the fire damage. Troop 483 spent a day picking apples for Riley’s Farm apple cider. It was a very productive day and they were very appreciative of our help.
Biking to the beach was a big hit. We hope to make this an anual event. In all, we had 20 boys bike the 22 miles from Yorba Regional Park to Huntington Beach. After being canceled the previous week due to rain, it ended up being a perfect Southern California day for a bike ride.
