On Labor Day weekend, 11 scouts from the troop, 3 cub scouts, one sibling and 7 adults attended the YMCA Camp Surf Family Weekend. Tents were set up on the sand right next to the water and the weather was perfect beach weather. There were many activities for everyone: Gaga Ball, Archery, Arts and Crafts, Climbing Wall, Volleyball, Surfing, and Boogie Boarding. Our boys enjoyed spending most of their time in the water swimming and boogie boarding or playing Gaga Ball with other camp attendees. Boys gave back by doing a beach cleanup as part of their conservation hours. The facilities at camp were modern and beach friendly and the scouts were fed some great meals. Camp was ejoyed by all, and this will definietly be a camp to return to in the future.
